1.1- Engineer License: You must hold an engineering license issued by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi.
1.2- Work Experience: You must have at least three (3) years of work experience registered in the Engineering Licensing System.
1.3- Engineering Specialty: You must currently be registered with the engineering specialty that is equivalent to the exam you wish to book, as listed ( Structural Engineer , Civil Engineer , Civil Engineer - Construction Management , Civil Engineer - Soil Mechanics , Civil Engineer - Building Systems )
2 - Engineering license upgrade Criteria - To be eligible for a category upgrade from Practicing Engineer to Specialized Engineer, you must meet the following condition:
2.1 Engineering Profession: You must currently be registered with the engineering profession (activity) that matches the exam you have passed, as listed ( Buildings Construction Of All Types Contracts , Buildings Metal Structures Contracts , Excavation and retaining walls and Dewatering works , Precast Concrete Building Contracts (Precast) , Demolition of Buildings and Lifting of Constructions Rubbles )
